Arrangements Under Inclement Weather Conditions

  1. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above: H2OPE Centre will be closed. It will be reopened within 2 hours as conditions allow after the signal is lowered. H2OPE Centre will remain closed for the day if the signal remains hoisted at 2pm.

  2. Black Rainstorm Warning:
    1. If the warning is issued before the opening hour, H2OPE Centre will be closed. It will be reopened within 2 hours as conditions allow after the warning is cancelled. H2OPE Centre will remain closed for the day if the warning remains hoisted at 2pm.
    2. If the warning is issued during the opening hours, H2OPE Centre will remain open until closing hour or the condition is safe for visitors to leave the centre.
  3. In the case of "extreme conditions", please pay attention to the Government announcements.
    (*The Government will make an "extreme conditions" announcement when serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage caused by a super typhoon.)

  4. Please check the following arrangement of successfully booked guided tours and H2OPE Activities.
